NASA astronauts Mark Vande Hay and Shane Kimbro are currently staying at the International Space Station. They and their fellow crew members are always welcomed by the sights of the Earth that we, just humans, can only dream of. Recently, the two astronauts have successfully captured a stunning image of our planet and shared it with fellow Earthlings on Twitter. They shared photos of the Himalayas and Turin, Italy, as seen from space. Here are some of the recent images shared by ISS astronauts with us:
Hei shared a photo of the Himalayas clicked from space on his Twitter account. The stunning image shows the Himalayas on a “sunny and bright day”. Hei added that he couldn’t get enough of these images.
Somewhere on a clear, bright day in the Himalayas. It’s hard to come up with such an opinion. pic.twitter.com/1QNylAIqAF

The image of a snow-covered mountain was shared with Hay, but Kimbro welcomed the Italians with a shared photo. He posted a photo of the northern Italian city of Turin from space. The photo looks like at night because the lights are shining. Kimbro is “Buona Notte Italy! (Good night Italy)”.

NASA’s official steering wheel shared an image of Istanbul, Turkey. This image was taken while the ISS was orbiting 263 miles over the Black Sea.
